An Introduction
In the summer of 1969, William Earl Anderson, then 16 years old, met his Great Aunt Pauline Anderson Yates on a family visit to Georgia. From that meeting of the generations, the existence of and content of these letters came to light. Together with Aunt Pauline's correspondence, these letters reveal a small but significant slice of life during this rich, yet difficult period of US history.
